Vaccine Policy
At Daisy Doodles Grooming, the health and safety of your pets are our top priority. To ensure a safe grooming experience, we require the following for all dogs receiving services:
Rabies Vaccination Requirement
All dogs must be current on their rabies vaccination. To comply with this policy, we require one of the following:
- Proof of a current rabies vaccination: A copy of the rabies vaccination record from your veterinarian.
- Rabies Titer Test: If your pet is not vaccinated due to medical reasons or personal preference, a current rabies titer test showing sufficient immunity is acceptable in place of a vaccination.
Proof of Vaccination
We require proof of current vaccinations from your veterinarian before your dog’s grooming appointment. Please provide us with a copy of the vaccination record either in advance or at the time of the appointment.
Exceptions
If your dog is under 16 weeks of age and has not yet received the rabies vaccine we will gladly offer services with proof of age from a veterinarian. In the case of health concerns, we may make exceptions, but we require prior communication to discuss specific circumstances.

Consultation Policy

To provide the best experience and results, we offer a consultation service to discuss your pet's grooming needs, preferences, and any special requirements. This consultation is an essential part of ensuring we deliver top-quality service and keep your pet’s comfort and safety in mind.
Consultation Process
- Initial Consultation (for New Clients):
- All new clients must schedule a consultation before their first grooming appointment. This allows us to meet your pet, discuss their grooming needs, and address any concerns you may have.
- During the consultation, we will assess your pet’s coat condition, temperament, and health to determine the best grooming approach.
- We’ll discuss your pet’s specific preferences, such as haircut styles, grooming frequency, and any special instructions.
- Ongoing Consultations (for Returning Clients):
- While ongoing consultations are not required for regular clients, we highly encourage them if there are any changes in your pet's health, coat condition, or grooming needs. This ensures that we continue to provide the most appropriate care.
- If you have any new requests, or if your pets behavior or grooming preferences have changed, please let us know in advance, and we can schedule a brief consultation.
Consultation Fees
- Initial Consultation: For new clients, the consultation is typically free if it is part of your first grooming appointment. If a separate consultation is requested, a consultation fee may apply.
- Follow-Up Consultations: For returning clients, a fee for a follow-up consultation may apply depending on the complexity of the grooming needs.
Consultation Scope
The consultation will cover:
- Grooming preferences (cut style, length, etc.)
- Health and behavioral concerns
- Special instructions (allergies, sensitivities, etc.)

Mobile Grooming Latch Key Policy
At Daisy Doodles Grooming, we understand that life can get busy, and sometimes it’s difficult to be home during your pet’s grooming appointment. To accommodate our clients’ schedules, we offer a Latch Key Service for safe, secure access to your pet when you're unavailable.
How the Latch Key Service Works
If you're unable to be home during your pet’s grooming appointment, we can arrange for you to leave a key to your home or a garage code in a secure location. Our groomer will use this key or code to enter your home, bring your pet outside for grooming, and safely return them once the grooming service is complete.
Security and Trust
Your pets safety and your peace of mind are important to us. We take every precaution to ensure that the key is stored securely and only used for your scheduled grooming service. All keys and access codes are handled with the utmost care and confidentiality.
Steps to Set Up Latch Key Service:
- Contact Us: Inform us that you'd like to use the latch key service when scheduling your grooming appointment.
- Provide Key/Access Code: Drop off a spare key or provide an access code ahead of time. You can leave it in a secure location, or we can arrange a time to pick it up.
- Confirmation: We will confirm that the key/code works, and ensure everything is set up before your appointment.
- Grooming Appointment: On the day of the appointment, our groomer will arrive and access your home to pick up your pet for grooming. Afterward, your pet will be safely returned.
Important Considerations:
- The latch key service is available for regular customers who have used our grooming services at least once.
- We are not responsible for any lost or damaged keys, so we recommend providing a spare key.
- This service is subject to availability and may not be offered in all areas.
- If there are any specific instructions for your pet’s care while we're in your home, please be sure to communicate them clearly in advance.

Cancellation Policy
At Daisy Doodles Grooming, we understand that life can get busy, and sometimes plans change. To ensure we can accommodate all of our clients and provide the best service possible, we have the following cancellation policy:
- Cancellations with 48 Hours Notice: We kindly request that you notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule. There is no charge for cancellations made within this time frame.
- Cancellations within 24 Hours of Appointment: If you need to cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. This helps us to cover the time and resources set aside for your grooming appointment.
- No-Show: If you are not home for your scheduled appointment without prior notice, you will be charged the full price of the grooming service. This fee is necessary to cover the costs of the appointment time and the groomer's time.
